Last Asker met Fossum won Fossum with all 192 runs. Asker was simply out for revenge.
In the wonderful summer weather Asker win the toss and choosing to bat first. Israar and Tara enters as opner for Asker, and then Tara gets catch out. Mehdi is the next one in while Israar being bowled in the third over. Asker have 16 runs for 2 and they need a partnership here. Khayyam its the next one in and with Mehdi they make sure Asker gets couple of runs at the scoreboard. Fossum is becoming more and more desperate after wickets when Khayyam and Mehdi start to get things going and scoreboard begins to look good. Khayyam with 3 boundaries, made 19 runs from 18 balls before he gets out.
Along with Mehdi they gave the partnership Asker needed. Next one in is Qasim and he continues with Mehdi and Asker really starting to get things in place now. Fossum players make small change in bowling and succeed with it when Qasim gets catch out. Scoreboard shows 121/4 and the next one is Ali M. Mehdi with a couple of nice shots, made 41 runs from 55 balls with 5 boundaries, gets catch out but well played boy! After Mehdi's wicket began scoring stopping up slightly for Asker but then Mohammad Ali with a BIG six and what a shot! After the six , Ali gets bowled and Asker starts to lose wickets but they gave Fossum 154 runs to chase.
Fossum get a decent start and has 20 runs in 3 overs. So take Qasim one wicket and in the next over takes Tara one wicket. Then comes himself Khpalwak Mamond, who made 123 runs against us last time. So it all started. Waqas as last weekend against Fjord did good bowling, countinued in this match too, but in this match , he was from another planet. First he took (maybe) the main wicket when he did Khpalwak Mamond out with a nice catch from wicket keeper Mehdi.
Then he took the next batsmen on the first ball and boy are on hattrick ball and it was very close, he took third wicket to. Fossum stands by 41 runs with 5 out and their camera man turned off the camera after seeing his team in deep trouble, and the next one in is Asadullah, but he gets out after two overs and now Fossum need some partnership, especially against Asker's bowling. Waqas did not want to see any partnership from Fossum's batsmen and again he takes even one more wicket while he gets the next batsmen clean bowled. This boy , he got a great talent and what a bowler this young boy is. Absolutely absolutely fantastic player! Fossum stands by 103 runs with one wicket left and Hashir makes their last batsmen stump out and Asker wins the match by 43 runs. What a comeback from Asker and what a fantastic result for them.
